A new year with Bright Beginnings!

We just got home from another great Grand Session of Ohio Job's Daughters!  This year's Grand Session was held at Youngstown Masonic Temple with lodging at Youngstown State University.  A big thank you to Mrs. Pat Wolf and Mrs. Sandy Hampton and all of their helpers for making this another memorable session!  Thank you also to Tim Flack, building manager at Youngstown Masonic Temple for everything he did to make things run smoothly at the temple.  Miss Shawn and Dad C had a great time planned for all and did a wonderful job carrying out their duties.

I can not tell you how excited I am to be your new Grand Guardian!  This year we hope to turn all of your Job's Daughters Dreams into Reality!  Just to tell you a little bit about myself, I am a Past Honored Queen from Bethel #22 in Delaware, Ohio.  I have also served on my Bethel Guardian Council as Custodian of Paraphernalia, Director of Epochs, Director of Music and Bethel Guardian.  I am also a Past Matron of George L. Behrens Chapter #504 Order of Eastern Star.  My husband, Steve, and I have 2 boys Evan and Braden who I'm sure you will see in my travels around the state.  My favorite colors are "Bright" Pink and Lime Green and I love Gerbera Daisies!  I currently have a home based custom cake business called "Bright Delights" and I also teach cake decorating at Michaels.  When I'm not working, traveling for Job's Daughters or spending time with my family, my guilty pleasure is Reality TV.  I love all the singing, dancing, cooking, design and competition shows on television.

Enough about me!  I am so excited to be working with some really great people this year!  Mr. Ted Eisleben is your 2011-2012 Associate Grand Guardian from Bethel 71 in Groveport, Ohio.  You will be hearing from him soon!

We are also joined by Ohio Miss Job's Daughter, Elizabeth H. Bethel 28 in Columbus, Miss Congeniality, Celeste P. Bethel 45 in Hilliard and your Grand Bethel Honored Queen, Ashley W. Bethel 69 in Gahanna.  We'll have posts from each of them soon to introduce themselves.  Our Grand Bethel Officers and Representatives and Grand Guardian Council Officers are from Bethels all over the state and we are so happy to be working with all of you!

That's about all for now.  Thanks for reading our very first Ohio Messenger Blog Post!   Please leave a comment and let us know what you think about our new blog!  Check back often to read about our travels and all the fun things going on in OH-IO!
